Re: Solid Orange Light on Smart Hub2 Pon light green

My account number is <redacted>

I am only pressing this as I have just had my first child 10 days ago,  we can't monitor the newborn without the Internet and all my heating, devices etc dong work without it. Also my wife is a private medical Secretary who works from home.

I don't have a backup to utilise and haven't been offered anything.

Do you have a mobile signal? Have you tried using your phone as a WiFi hotspot just while things get sorted?
Although, saying that, you’d think perhaps BT would’ve sent out a 4G router if this was going to take a while given your circumstances?

Re: Solid Orange Light on Smart Hub2 Pon light green

For that matter, if you have a decent mobile signal, I bought a 4G router to tide me over a problem 6 months ago.  A Mecusys MB230-4G.  Don’t know what they are now but at the time it was only £50 off Amazon.  EE also do a 120GB data SIM card valid for 12 months for £50.  The non-subscription SIM only allows IPv4 but it gets the job done.

Sorry, can’t give you a direct link as commercial links are against forum rules.

I would have thought things like the baby monitor would still work though, even if your broadband was down, as it should only need the Wi-Fi and that is internal to your network?

It's the oxygen and heart monitor which links in to the broadband that isn't working. I don't need the baby monitor as she is constantly in my sight.
