I genuinely have nothing to suggest. I can't make something up, even if you'd like me to. I'd moved on from that post. Perhaps the OP has a similiar situation to which someone else mentioned in another post, the FTTC is literally too full and the old copper cabling to their house just isn't performing as it should, in which case, it requires further investigation.
