Hello, I have been having some major issues with downloading speeds. I'm currently getting 500 KB/s when I usually get 5 MB/s.

I've seen similar posts to what I'm currently experiencing so I'm going to ask for the same help.

from your stats posted your have 40/6.3 mb connection speed which is within range expected from dslchecker

can you try running fast.com  or   BTW Performance Tester (btwholesale.com)

must use ethernet connection not wifi and post results

Here are my results.
Today seems to be a good day as I'm reinstalling apex and I'm averaging 4-5 MB/s on steam, but last night I was getting 500 KB/s.

I wonder if you are getting confused between MB/s and Mb/s. Your speeds as you reported are spot on. 4-5MB/s = 32-40 Mb/s.

Internet speeds are expessed in bits/second. Downloads in Bytes/second. There are 8 bits in a Byte.

As regards steam do you know the sever load at the time? It is not an indicator of your connection speeds at all.
