Hi
I've just placed an order for BT Fibre 900 and moving from Airband who installed FTTP about a year ago in my area.
When Airband installed their service, they placed their own fibre line into my property and left the pre existing copper openreach line in.
When BT Fibre is installed, I assume they will replace the copper openreach line with fibre and the Airband fibre line can remain in situ (dormant) at the same time? I'm not sure how it works at the distribution points/cabinets as assume there will only be one point of connection for fibre?
Thanks

The openreach fibre network (which BT use) is a totally seperate system to Airband. So you are correct a new fibre cable will be installed.

Re: Switching From Airband
Thanks. Ironically I struggled to reply as my Airband connection still continues to be unreliable! Looking forward to BT Fibre.
