We have just been upgraded to Full Fibre. We are on a lowly legacy (out of contract) 74Mb/s. I am offered 900Mb/s for basically a quid more.
When I try to check out is adds £12.99 delivery fee, for what exactly? We have a BT Router Type 2, what are they sending me, or is this just a hidden fee?
The £12.99 delivery fee does indeed sound very much like a fee to deliver new equipment, such as a new router. How old is your current router? Do you have a landline?
As a matter of interest, how much are BT going to charge you for 900mbps should you accept?
I really despair, folks get an amazing offer to upgrade free and then quibble over a couple of bob for delivery charges which although probably not necessary are neither here nor there.
It's a quid more than our current contract. So no big deal really. Found out on checkout they are sending us a wifi disc, so that's ok, and justified I guess.
Totally agree. Just wondered why 🙂 I went for it anyway. They are sending a wifi disc, so make sense
