normally now when you upgrade to FTTP you also get changed to digital voice but can't see anything about that unless you already have DV

I don't have DV and was told that getting DV would mean having to lose my current landline number which I have had for donkeys' years. I said I wanted to keep the number. Hence AFAICT, they will run the copper line alongside the Fibre so I can. For now at least. Perhaps when there is no option and I have to go DV, that they will have figured out how I can keep my number.
