Hi there.
Down to get Fibre 900 installed in a few weeks and I'm aware that I can plug my old analogue phone into the router to keep using it as before. Question is, the analgoue phone(s) are cordless. The master unit will be plugged into the router. I assume that the slave units (that only have a power supply and don't require a phone line) will still work as before and that I won't need additional adaptors for them?
Thanks
Your phone's line cord with the BT 431 plug will now plug into the green socket on the back of the Smart Hub 2. However if you want to site your phone elsewhere (not near the SH2) you can pair a DV adapter first with the SH2 (the DV adapter being powered from the mains whilst doing this) and then the DV adapter can be plugged into any mains socket and the phone's line cord then plugged into the phone socket on the DV adapter.
That's my simple explanation on the subject but I'm only an amateur in such matters.
@TimelessOne Everything will work exactly as before, the only change is the location of the phone socket from master socket to hub.
