I've run BT Broadband checker for my daughter who is contemplating a house to buy. The checker says that FTTP is not available; WBC FTTC Unavailable; WBC SOGEA is available.
As far as I understand, SOGEA is internet without a 'phone service? Presumably there is a copper cable to the house but that's not known for certain at present. Any help appreciated.

As you say , SoGEA is FTTC without a PSTN phone service, and it’s doesn’t really matter if a copper cable exists ( it probably will ) or one needs to be provided , the property can get service from Openreach based providers…if the house is in an underground service area , the chances are the cable exists but won’t be as obvious as a cable from a telegraph pole , but will be there .
