I'm trying to contact BT to notify them I'm moving home. Ther website does not work, I've tried phoning you at various times during the day, right up just before your phone lines close at night. I get the same auto mated answer from you "Your experiencing high number of calls"
Try speaking to your customers
There were 2 industrial action days (strikes) in the last week, this meant fewer calls were being answered and possibly creating a backlog, if you try today they are open as normal but just like yourself, others might be trying who couldn't get in touch yesterday.
I've already tried contacting them today, still the same result as yesterday. Also, the website is down again today, so i' can't log in.
Industrial strikes do not prevent issues with websites.
Industrial strikes are also planned in advance, so provisions should be made to ensure there is no interruptions to their services. I'm sure there wasn't such issue during covid restrictions, when everyone was to work from home.
Thank you for sending the link, I've already tried this a few times.
The page comes up as an error each time, so I can't proceed any further. So, I revert to phoning bt which brings me back to the same scenario of having problems contacting them.
They were quick enough to send me a text message this morning, asking me to complete a survey on their customer services. It's a shame they couldn't pick the phone up to call me so I can get this resolved.
The link works fine here, and this next link takes you to the start of the process.
It should take you to a page which directs you to MyBT.
That also works here.
Try a different web browser.
Hi @Kev8 and welcome to our community.
Sorry you're having problems getting the home move order sorted. I've checked both links posted by @Keith_Beddoe and they're working. Can you try clearing cookies and cache or using another browser and let me know how that goes?
Cheers
David
