This is what it says on Openreach which if you didn’t know better suggests you lose internet if you dont have Full Fibre. I had to do a lot of research to realise that FTTC would still work 
it’s the messaging that is the issue 

“The UK is retiring its analogue copper telephone network by 31 January 2027, replacing it with digital services like Full Fibre (FTTP) and Voice over IP (VoIP). This applies to all 25 million premises. Landlines will plug into routers, and traditional PSTN/ISDN services will stop working, necessitating upgrades for all phone and internet services”

Yes, the word 'copper' should never have been used in that sentence, it is very misleading.
