I keep getting the message "I'm sorry, this system's busy, please try again later" when dialing 1471. Using wifi dialling and can ring out on other numbers. Is there a general problem with the service?

Is the 1471 service something you have been able to use recently on your BT Mobile? As it is more for landline/home phones, as mobiles will have there own call log on the phone itself to view who has called and dial them back.

I haven't used it recently but it used to work. The reason for trying this is 1571 was dead, so I was wondering if anything else wasn't working. I just experimented by leaving a message off another phone but instead of getting a text to say there's a message from 1571, I got a text telling me the voicemail is 07953 22222, which I've never encountered before and have never called.
I don't know if this is a scam or not.
Immediately before replying here I just checked 1571 again and it connected fine.
@Guzzigirl Ah I see, thanks for clarifying. The voicemail service should be working as normal at the moment so glad to hear its worked again after you tried 1571 again. 07953 22222 is the EE Voicemail number so is a legitimate number, did your voicemail notification text just come from 150?
If you do continue to experience any problems with accessing the voicemail it would be best to give our technical team a call on 150 who will be able to access your account and check it is all setup.

The notification text came from 07953 22222, which is usual as they're always from 1571.
