A12 Samsung - callers can't hear unless on speaker

Hello

Has this phone for a few years, and now if i make a call the caller can't hear me unless I use speaker. Tried a reset, and update - still not sorted.

Any ideas?

Have you tried using Google as there are numerous suggestions to solve your problem eg try safe mode, check accessibility settings etc

Eventually you can back up phone then factory reset and then install back up

All the options failed. So looks like the factory reset is the only option.

Is appears that some 3rd party apps can interfere with the normal use of your phone.
Have you recently (since the problem started) installed a new app?

You can also try:-
Settings>General Management>Reset>Reset Network Settings

If these suggestions fail then do an internet search e.g. A12 Samsung - callers can't hear unless on speaker and I'm sure you will find am answer!

Thanks - but I have tried everything suggested, the final option is the factory reset. I have not installed any new apps, so no idea what has caused this. The mic works fine as video is ok and speaker allows you to hear ok.
