I am in Kent, me and my daughter are on BT and neither of us have mobile data
has been down all day, but I have wifi at home and work. Wifi calling works.
lots of reports of problems at BT on Downdetector but no official notice or communication from BT acknowledging the issue that I can find (?)
mobile shows no 5G just shows E (Edge) only.

Could you try turning flight mode on and off again to see if you can access data?

I've enabled then disabled flight mode, now says 5G and mobile data works for me now. 🙂

It flashed 5g for a second then no signal again.
Fix it please.
Can you please share with us what is actually happening ?
Excellent Customer Care and all that and we've been kept in the dark since this morning with no Data , no SMS and no explanation on the BT website ...and it's not fixed yet...

Is it working any better for you this morning? Turning airplane mode on then back off should force your phone to search for a good connection.
If it still isn't working for you, I recommend speaking to our technical support team.

The fact that it works this morning has no bearing on the way customers were treated yesterday. Shame on your mangers for treating us with Silence during such a large disruption.
