BT mobile reception

We have two Motorola phones in an office in central Norwich. One is on BT mobile and one on Plusnet. The Plusnet phone gets a strong 4G signal all of the time but the BT one gets next to none even though the BT exchange is across the street. My understanding is that both BT Mobile and Plusnet run on the same EE network, so how can this be? All suggestions welcome! Thanks

Re: BT mobile reception

@MaryKobr it could be that the BT Mobile one is locking on to 5G signal and that's very hit and miss indoors. I'm on O2 via a MVNO and it's utterly useless in our office which is a Grade 2 listed Georgian town house in a city centre.

Try turning off 5G in your handset settings.
