Bt mobile

I have 5 Sims on my account all out of contract, I’m looking at a new deal with bt but when I go to the check out stage it says I will receive new sims which will switch me to bt. I’m concerned as why it’s says they will switch me to by when new sims are activated and if they send new sims  will they be different numbers. I’ve tried ringing to confirm but have been on hold for ages. Thanks

Re: Bt mobile

Hi, you can take up the new deals without replacing the sims with new ones. I have just been through the process. It can’t be done on line but you need to phone customer services and get an agent who knows how to do it.

Re: Bt mobile

@StewM Are you talking about moving over to the new BT Mobile from a legacy Family SIM, as that appears to have been the sticking point?

Re: Bt mobile

@Brucemeister5 it seems that maybe the case. I previously had Family Sim with two sims. This was broken when 5G was launched as it was only available on single sims at the time. So, I had two 5G separate sims out of contract. The helpful & knowledgeable CS staff member updated one mobile one day and the second on the following day.
