Bt retention team

Hi, I was in a home essentials 2 rolling contract and recently wanted to upgrade, found a deal on virgin, initiated a switch and started receiving calls from 01438 382072 in Stevenage which is known to be Bt retention team all good and well. On the Wednesday just gone a gentleman rang me up to sort the regrade of WiFi to fibre 300 at a discount. He also mentions at the end that he would be able to offer me a price decrease for my unlimited phone sim (through EE) the systems then proceeded to crash or something on his end and I was promised a call back by the same person at some point today to ensure that both things have been done. I’m still awaiting said phone call, WiFi has been done and all of those issues taken care of, I had to call by for another reason but at the end I asked if I could be out through to the mobile team which I was then put on hold whilst a manager went over a few things and was told that I couldn’t get the pice decrease and was just told “no I can’t do that for you, thank you for your patience have a nice day” it felt very rushed from the ee mobile team.

Re: Bt retention team

Hi @Quinnfrazer,

Welcome to the Community!

I'm so sorry to hear about what has happened here, both that you've not received the call you were expecting, and that you've been left feeling disappointed when you got back in touch. I'd recommend getting back in touch with our team and asking to make a complaint regarding this. The team should be able to listen to the initial call when this discount was offered and ensure this is honoured, and feedback to the team you spoke with most recently.
