How do you cancel mobile , don’t want number or move it just need to cancel it , says manage your service but doesn’t tell you how to stop it or cancel it , just goes around in circles .
It’s about making your life as difficult as possible. They don’t want you to be able to cancel all by yourself, they want you to call them so they can attempt to convince you to stay. That’s the whole reason retention departments exist.
Read what the OP has said. He does not want to keep the mobile number or move to a new provider so how will getting a PAC cancel the account as he will not be using it?
Texting the Info number only tells them if they are in contract and how much the fee would be if they cancel while in contract. It does not cancel the account.
Again why would I need a PAC , just want to stop it altogether, not replacing or getting anything new ,, so to try and convince me to have something I no longer need .
