Hi,
I currently have my landline, broadband and 4 mobile phone sims all through the same BT account.
I'm in the process of porting my landline number to Sipgate which I am told will result in the ending of all services on my account.
This is fine as I will no longer need the landline or broadband however I do wish to keep the 4 mobile sims with BT.
My question is, is it possible to move the 4 mobile numbers to a new separate BT account so that my porting of a landline number doesn't end my contract with the 4 mobiles resulting in me losing those phone numbers?
I guess the alternative if this is not possible is to get PAC codes for the 4 sims, move away on a 30 day contract and then get PAC codes to move back as a new account.
You're worrying about nothing, moving the landline away won't stop the mobiles, you might lose the broadband discount after 1 month as there's no longer any bb on there but moving the line won't cancel the sim's
Hoped that would be the case... just really wanted to make sure I didn't lose the mobile numbers as that would be an epic pain.
Yeah assumed the broadband discount would end though theres no drama at all with that
