Good afternoon team. Today I got a data warning on my reasonably new Pixel 8pro mobile saying I was over 2GB this monthly period. According to my BT contract I have 38gb of data left until the 18th October.
Is this a phone setting or is it something I should be worried about.
Never seen a warning like this before

Solved! Go to Solution.
If it's like my phone, (a Motorola), there is an app to warn you if you go over. You can set the monthly amount and a warning X GB below it. It may be you have the same sort of thing and the default warning is set at 2GB. Have a look at your internet settings.
It's not a network warning but a software limit set by the phone and has no relevance to your data allowance as per your airtime contract. You can change the limit easily in the phone settings.
Thanks Nigel I've now set the limit to 8GB and no other warnings so far
