RCS chat

We've just joined up for a BT mobile sim coming from EE. We now have no RCS chat features, which we had before. It's not in the Google Messages settings any more. Is this feature not available on BT mobile? I liked it to be able to see if my message had been delivered and read.

Yes RCS does work on BT Mobile but I've noticed an increased failure rate just recently when sending to friends who are on EE and auto re-send never seems to work but strangely deleting the message and resending it manually does.
