Today I've been told that data has been used on my phone even though roaming is switched off. As I'm in Australia I'm not using my phone except to receive security codes. So I don't understand why I've got a charge of over £32 pounds in 1 day. The phone has been sat on my bedside table for 4 months!
please help me!
so how are you receiving your security codes - email or text or?
Not sure 🤔 mostly email but some are texts, I think. The phone is connected to the internet and this is the first time this level of charge has been made in 1 day, yesterday and I haven’t used it all in that time. It was when I received an email to say I had come close to my limit I checked that the roaming was definitely off.
As a pensioner l have to keep to a budget and BT just seem to like taking my money. The only way to contact them is by phone which would be an extortionate cost.
