My wife and I have a BTMobile 30GB Family Sim 5G Plan, it shows a current add-on Roam Like Home. In 2024 and 2025 we had holidays in Hungary. In both cases we got emails, that we can use our mobiles as at home, but we couldn't use them because roaming wouldn't work. When we were on wifi everything would work but without wifi, if we wanted to use roaming, it wouldn't work. Not even phone calls, messages, data or Google maps, and this occured in both cases where on wifi everything would work nicely but without it we couldn't do anything. I checked now our mobiles: the settings on both are correct and the same as the BT's website shows. I found an other option on the website: I should set our Monthly spend cap and our Data roaming cap at the same £35 and save it. I want to be sure it will work because we are going on a holiday again to Hungary in a few weeks.
