All of a sudden when I try to log on to the same hotspot I've been using for years my log in process has become long winded and now has a message ssl certificate not trusted. Why?
This usually happens if the hotspot’s SSL certificate expired or wasn’t renewed properly. Your browser or device now flags it as untrusted. To fix it, the hotspot owner needs to update or replace the SSL certificate with a valid, trusted one. Meanwhile, you can try clearing your browser cache or reconnecting.
