I am trying to find out how to submit a claim for my property.
There is a service cover on the road outside our property which is a bt duty
The duct has never been maintained for 5 years.
We have spoken to highways agency multiple times
The duct constantly overflows with water and it encroaches it our drive, resulting in the water eroding a strip of about 3m length by 10inch depth out of our drive !
Not only causing issues with driving in and out of driveway but now it causing water to stream and channel into our property !!
Only recently after 5 years of of complaining to the council , highways agency.etc.open reach came out and have sorted the silt and build up of debris in the service hole. The person on the jib was shocked that it had been ignored for so long
The issue is that it has directly caused damaged to my property ...through maintenance negligence..its quite clear
Any advice, as our drive needs repairing through no fault of our own
