After a lengthy conversation with Microsoft, I found out that the last code I bought from G2A is linked to BT/EE and I'm not able to cancel the acct. I can't see nothing or even whwn it expires. I need to get control of his acct and looking for some help. Thank you in advance!
Hello,
This is a subscription on a 30 day rolling renewal, you can simply turn off auto renewal and it will expire by itself on the renewal date.
you can do this on MyBT via a web browser and go to Your Products, then select Content Partners, on this page you can turn off auto renewal.
If that doesn’t work you can contact BT who can turn off auto renewal for you.
BT isn’t able to delete the Microsoft Account but turning auto renewal off will stop any such charges from continuing.
hope this helps!
I can't see how to do this. When I login, it doesn't show me anything.
Hello,
if your able to login to MyBT, then select your Products then select content partners if the Xbox Game Pass is linked to the Xbox Game Pass it will appear if it doesn’t appear could be possible it’s not linked to that BT Account.
you could cancel the direct debt with the bank and this should automatically turn off auto renewal.
you could do a eChat with BT instead of calling if you cannot self serve.
Hope this helps.
Right okay, so I recommend just cancel the direct debt with your bank.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription once linked to BT brings the payment into one account, like grouping your bills, it’s unusual for this to not be linked to any DD and No account.
it’s also unusual to not get a complete set up email and only received a code instead.
Doesn’t sound right to me because it would be generating a bill each month.
This might be BT Canada and not BT United Kingdom.
you able to contact BT Canada to confirm?
as you have no links to BT having bought pass from 3rd party I think you need assistance from BT XBOX TEAM as other with same problem. I have asked forum mods to see if they can help you and they will post here. Mods are really busy and as also holiday period may be few days before any response
