Hi all - new to this forum
I'm with the service provider (SP) XLN, for 3 years now, for my broadband and phone landline but we have just recently had full fibre installed in the area (so still to get it connected to house) so have shopped around and getting kickback from companies when I demand that my current tel number is ported across to the new account and after investigating found out that my landline number does not match my postcode.....how do I get it resolved please, is it up to the SP, BT, Openreach or Post Office?
Read in other post that it is the SP responsibility but if they can resolve it does that mean they can disassociate the landline and postcode in the first instance?

Its up to your existing provider to correct this.
