Report a Scam

I'm posting this here because I tried to report a scam on the Report a Scam function and it refused to accept either the phone number I put in or the comment I made as valid without explaining what I had done wrong or how to make them acceptable to the format, it simply refused to let me submit. Could someone please help with this or at the very least tell me why a comment might be deemed invalid or why the number listed on my phone's call list was unacceptable as that was all I had. I would like to report this scam as the caller claimed to be from BT and had my first initial and name so this would suggest this may be an issue BT needs to look at.

If the form does not work, I would suggest contacting BT directly by phone and they will report their end.  If you have call protect you can also block the number as well.  I found with scam / sales calls even though the number sad it was UK a lot were clearly coming from overseas so I blocked my line from accepting international calls and I don't think I have had one since.
