Van broken down, blocking road!

Hi. There’s a broken down van in our village parked at a very precarious location. 
its causing a lot of issues with every vehicle squeezing though. 
It’s been left there for over 3 days now! 
who can be informed about this so it can been recovered asap!!!!

If it is an Openreach van, you need to be aware that Openreach and BT are actually separate companies, (albeit both are part of BT Group).  This BT customer-to-customer help forum has no connection to Openreach.  Try their website.

Have you reported it to the police as is causing an obstruction to traffic

ring the police and telll them tat is van is blocking the highway under highways act 1980 i think

@Pickles31  I’m always a sucker for a good follow up story, so what if this ‘van’ then? Is it an ice-cream van? The Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine van? Just who has mysteriously dumped their van in your village? Is it even still there?

Unfortunately, if it’s taxed and insured and not parked on dub yellows or a designated Clearway, there’s little that can be done and quite honestly, the police won’t give a monkeys despite whether you think it’s parked awkwardly or not. This forum is hardly the place to report random vans parked in annoying places.

If it bothers you that much, call your local Council parking enforcement team.
