ASDL/VDSL

Go to solution

I was in touch with BT yesterday to get the details for setting up my third party router. I have FTTC. They said my line is ASDL, however I thought it was VDSL, can anyone chime in to clarify?

I feel bad for asking as that is quite an obvious answer! I checked the app but info there is quite limited and didn't even consider logging in to my account... Thanks @Keith_Beddoe

If you have FTTC it is VDSL

Yep, turns out it is VDSL. I haven't set router up yet but I'm beginning to wonder if the details I was provided with are correct... I will try and get it up and running and if it doesn't work, I'll be back with another post.

I have the username/password details. That's another thing they gave me totally different info. Told to use firstname.lastname@btbroadband.com

Have checked forum for other users with same router and think I have all the info needed. Thanks all.
