I recently closed my landline account in December and received a final bill with a refund, however I have just received a new email stating 'Your latest bill is ready to view'. When I login to my BT account there is no new bill.
When my account was active I always used to receive an email every month stating 'Your latest bill is ready to view' however I paid quarterly and on the months when a bill was due I used to receive two emails saying there was a bill to view. It seems my email is on a list to send automatic bill emails monthly and this hasn't been deactivated when my account was closed.
