As my contract ends next month I phoned up the Value team to renegotiate my contract, agreed a price for broadband, phone and TV that I was content with, only for that order to disappear from the system. Phoned back a few days later and (after being on hold for 40 minutes) was assured that, this time, it would definitely go through.
Couldn't see anything in the My BT portal, but someone on the chat assured me that when I get the bill through the new price will appear as agreed.
New bill arrived yesterday - no change. I'm now advised by the person on chat I need to call the Value team again.
Anyone else experiencing this kind of thing or am I a special case?

I should probably write to say that, eventually, BT have honoured the monthly price they originally promised although it did take a lot of phone calls on my part to eventually get it over the line.
