Any way to order FTTC?

I'm hoping someone can help me out here as I'm currently without internet and not sure what to do.

I'm in a flat and have been using the same BT plan for nearly 10 years. It was called fiber halo 3 and used a smart hub 2 with 70Mbs download speeds. I think it was FTTC but am not sure. I accidentally cancelled this, and now can't find a way to renew it. All I see are options for full fiber broadband but I don't have that installed - and I'm not sure how easy or quick it will be to install (or if my landlord would allow it).

Is there any way I can just go back to my old setup? There's no way to do so online (only full fibre options) - I just want my old slow connection back asap, and then I can look to upgrade once that's back in place. I'm totally without internet at all right now and it's awful.

have you tried phoning CS 03301234150 and see if they can help

you may be in a full fibre area hence only choice is FTTP  enter your address and post results including notes

Thanks for the prompt response, below is a screenshot of the results - it says FTTP is available but the building is a block 8 flats, mine being on the second floor, and I definitely don't have any fibre sockets.

shows you are not yet in FTTP priority area so should still be able to get FTTC.  You could get FTTP as appear to be served from a pole and the fibre would just follow the existing cable

I think you are misunderstanding how this works. You won't have fibre until you order it. It is not expected that it will be in place to be able to order it. Available means available to order.

With most ISP that use Openreach , once Openreach FTTP is available it becomes the default network, so even if there isn’t an absolute stop sale if SoGEA ( that’s FTTC without PSTN telephone) you may struggle to find an ISP to offer it as they are incentivised to go for FTTP , there can be some exceptions, like if there were to be excess construction costs , or if a renter can’t get the permission from their landlord, but this won’t be doable on line you would need to call , and if an ISP said it’s FTTP or nothing , there isn’t much you can do about that .

Your survey shows external block /overhead , so the FTTP provision is from a block on an external wall , cabled across the wall (or walls ) to your ‘flat’ , this may be the same as the copper service that exists or may be completely different method to the copper service that exists .

Edit , my post  at the same time as the OP , who seems to have got the FTTC (SoGEA) service restored.

Yeah I did. Pretty much every website said I had fibre so I ordered it, and opted for the one touch switch (without really thinking about it) but the new provider was extremely optimistic about how quickly that would get installed and so now I have nothing. It's okay though, I've been in touch with BT CS and I can re-order my old set-up. I'd intended to keep it anyway as a secondary/backup line

If you are getting FTTC reinstated, there is nothing to install , if you get FTTP there obviously is ….its not clear to me at least what you have actually ordered …if it’s FTTP the product will be called Full Fibre , FTTC /SoGEA are not full fibre .
