Re: BT App where’s the bill

When looking at the bill, you are still in the MyBT app not a PDF reader. When you click “Download bill” or

”Download as PDF” you get a message “Bill downloaded” which disappears after a few seconds. That’s it. It does not open another window or dialog which would allow you to choose where the download is going to go.

Have you checked the system folders on your device to see if it uses the same folder for the Mail downloads or if there is a "general"  download folder where all downloads get stored unless you re-direct them to another folder.

Failing that I suspect you will need to contact the developers via the Apple Store app section.

Thanks for that. I hadn’t thought of the system folders, they are often buried and not accessible to users. I will have a look tomorrow and come back to you.

There they are!  In the area “On My iPAD”, get to with the Files App, there is the icon for MyBT app. Go into that and there are a bunch of bills I had downloaded and thought to be lost. One minor problem is the file name. It looks like some internal index number, not a date/time thing. There is a download date associated with the file which should identify it. I don’t like poking around in system files, bad stuff can happen if you mess with the files.  All we need to do now is get it fixed!

I notice there is now another thread which seems to be the same issue. I’ll post on there shortly. Many thanks to all on this thread.
