I have explained to BT/EE on every occasion the situation with the address and have went so far to ask BT to do an ODRI to get records amended as you stated I cannot contact openreach! So the sales must be knowingly pushing the order through with the wrong details and hoping the order goes through or why is the order being cancelled by them or openreach within 24h’s
with regards to the credit issue my credit file states 3 hard search’s done by BT in the past 3 months which is what has negatively affected my credit score
Are you currently a BT customer ?
An ORDI ( Openreach data integrity ) check simply checks that the data OR hold for the address is the same as the Royal Mail entry , that won’t have any bearing on your issue , asking BT for an ORDI check if not already a BT customer won’t actually get an ORDI anyway, if not a current customer or a customer of another ISP on Openreach , then ‘BT’ have no reason to initiate this check
