BT Essential package

Hi I waited an hour to get through to ask about the essential plan because the online form populated the wrong information, to be told that I do not qualify as my national insurance number is telling them I am not on Universal credit , I have left a message on my DWP account asking for help but I am not holding my breath,  is there anything else I can do I haven’t worked in 2 years and am struggling to pay my bill I tried to ring bt again to speak to somebody but couldn’t hang on for another hour, it’s no wonder bt introduced this because they’ve made it so hard to get it

Re: BT Essential package

Try phoning the options team on 0800800030 and see if they can help.  Looks like there is a problem though as the check to see if eligible is NI number
