BT Halo 1 package coming to end of its term

The Halo 1 package that I am currently using is almost at the end of its contract and with Openreach not rolling FTTP out in the area until somewhere between now and Dec 2026, another provider is rolling FTTP out circa Oct 2022, which I intend to go with.  My question is if I decide to drop my landline (after the current contract runs out) from the Halo 1 package (and the associated "Price Promise") but still continue on a rolling monthly contract with the TV and Broadband package until I am connected to FTTP in circa Oct 2022, will it be regarded as a new contract since I am dropping one of the three services I am currently receiving?

Thank you.

Re: BT Halo 1 package coming to end of its term

My Halo 1 contract expired recently and I was able to regrade the phone plan online to PAYG for free which didn’t enter me into any new contracts.

like you, FTTP is being deployed by another provider so I don’t want to renew anything just yet.
