I returned tv box, checked and it had been received by bt- this was at least 3 weeks ago- checked receipt and now bt say they are adding £89 to bill. Phoned, nothing they can do without tracking number. But I know the box is with BT
It is taking BT about three to four weeks to update their records after receipt of the item.
If you have Proof of Postage or if you can find the Receipt of Delivery they can update your account if you call 0330.1234.150. If you do not have either of those you should wait until at least four weeks have passed by which time your account should have been updated and no charge will be levied.
