I updated my details ages ago, however I still receive emails from BT to my old address. I also changed the Account holder into my name, but emails / letters refer to my husband (who's name isn't even spelt correctly).
How do I sort this as I want to close my old address.

I would recommend getting in touch with our customer care team who have account access to look into this further.

Normally you cannot change the name of the account holder with the exception that if account holder has died then the account name can be changed into name of spouse

So, I used the online chat feature and I think I have sorted out the email issue. Will only know when I get an email next month to tell me my bill is ready.
The chat function was easy to use and the person was very knowledgeable. The only thing that annoyed me was they tried to shunt me onto the sales team at one point when asking about my mobile phone. However once I said no thanks it wasn't mentioned again.
