I have been promised refund after being wrongly billed and also have marker removed from my credit file. None of this has been done. What is happening?

This is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT. The only BT staff are the forum moderators who do not have access to accounts. You would need to call BT Billing on 0330.1234.150 and ask them.
With this being a customer to customer community the mods on here do not have access to customer accounts.
I would suggest calling BT directly and speak to the billing team, they will be able to follow up on both of those things. They should open a complaint and they will keep working with you until it is fixed.
I'm sure it will be a smooth process once someone is in control and following up with everything.
