Broadband Price Hikes

My bb Full Fibre 500 contract comes to an end in March 2025, so naturally I'm looking around for a better deal - & I have found one with SKY (Full Fibre Gigafast 900 Mb/s for £39 a moth which is cheaper & faster than BT's.

So, I naturally contacted BT to inform them that I will leave them if they cannot match the SKY package (without the March £3 monthly price hike).  Instead of answering a perfectly simple question I was passed on to a fast-talking boring salesman who I don't have the time of day for at the best of times who blasted me with all kinds of offers & discounts I wasn't interested in & none of which answered or addressed the simple question I initially asked which was 'CAN YOU MATCH THE SKY BROADBAND PACKAGE'.

Why do these people make life for their customers more difficult than is necessary?  Hence, I will be terminating my contract with BT & switching to SKY 'AGAIN'!

Best to tussle a deal nearer to March.

Hi @jeffgarry I'm sorry to hear about your experience when you call us, It's not the kind of experience that we expect from our sales guides.

I'd love to see you stay with BT, so I'd recommend giving our broadband retentions team another try.
