Buying package and broadband activation

Hello!
I want to buy a broadband package for my appartment in London. But I want to do it in advance before moving from another country.
Can buy a subscription and sign the contract online or do I need to do it in person?
How long does it take to activate and set up a broadband? Can the broadband be activated and connected remotely? Do I need to be in the apartment  and do something for this?

Hi, @maria554 welcome to the community and thanks for posting, yes you can agree to the contract and place your order online in advance.

As part of the online order journey, you will be advised how long it will take to provide your service and if an engineer will require access to your flat or not. If access is needed you will be given appointment options to choose from.

If there is a line in place already and no engineering work is needed the broadband can usually be activated remotely.
