The way it's going, I'll be joining you.
Read your post who are Altnet ?
That’s another story they don’t make it easy to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period contract, blatant ignore of consumer law.
Altnet is a nickname for alternative network providers offering fibre broadband packages · Although smaller in scale
So true, they have turned into a sycophantic monster. Acting like they know me, my best friends. I rang in January to demand they cut the cost of my full package program. They told me they would halve it and they did that month. Then the next month they put it back up again with a renewed contract for 2 years. They are a slippery bunch with whom I have had trouble for years. EE that great Germanic telecomms company slip us back into the EU and another British corporation is smothered. Im on a campaign to get out of this company but its going to take some time. Maybe when Reform take power they will be deconstructed.
Just heard today that the company is being split and EE will become the consumer market and all bt customers will be switched to EE also learned that EE will outsource their customer services to India where BT made a big mistake and brought it back from India to local call centres, so they havnt learnt a thing untill they start losing their customers.
whatever happened to customer retention.
A lost course I think.
If Bt can switch you to another provider ie EE they cancel your existing BT contract then you should be able to have choice in ending your bt contract and go elsewhere.
Although I regularly watch Dragons den I'm no business expert but even I know EE is a British brand. Also the news you just heard was from three years ago and has long since been abandoned
That’s out-of-date news. BT are no longer shutting down their residential broadband provision and you do not have to move to EE. (Although some over enthusiastic guides, on commission, will still move you if they think they can get away with it).
I was told that they are trying to move all residential customers to EE and that st some point you will no longer have a choice.
that’s where breach of contract takes place
How many times do you have to be told...that's out of date. The new CEO scrapped it. You don't have to move to EE even if the less will informed guides are still saying you do.
