Can’t return kit
Hi there,
I made it clear when I ordered my new line that I was unable to have one fitted at my place of residence. I was still sent the kit anyway and wasn’t aware I had to return this. I have now moved to a different country and I’m being threatened with account charges and I’m becoming severely stressed and overwhelmed ms. I do not have access to this kit and I’m afraid I can’t return this and I’m going to be charged almost £200 even though I told you I couldn’t have a line fitted and was sent the kit anyway.
please help =(

Re: Can’t return kit
This is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT. The only BT staff are the forum moderators who do not necessarily read all the posts.
If you were sent BT Equipment, even if it was an error on BT's part, you should have returned it at that time and not just assumed that you had a right to keep the items.
You will need to contact BT and advise them what you have done in order to see if the charges can be waived.

If the charge is that high, it means you had more than just a hub sent, there's a BTTV box which doesn't fit through a letter box, someone accepted the delivery at the address, can you not ask them to return it and save you the charge ?

Re: Can’t return kit
Well everyone else seems to have received the answers they were looking for on here. I never just assumed anything I had no use for it as no one appeared to fit a line even if I could have had one put in. I spoke to the operators explaining this and they said nothing about returning a kit. This remained at the address as I was discharged and faced with no option but to return to Scotland. Very unhappy with the tone of your reply!

I am sorry it is not the answer that you were looking for. Perhaps if you contact BT they will give you the answer that you are looking for!
