I have recently cancelled my BT contract which was set up in May 2022 and is a 24 month contract. However, when I received my final bill, it has a cancellation fee of around £360. Why have I been charged so much if it is a 24 month contract and if they signed me up for a rolling contract/ extended my contract, why did I have no communication about it via post/ email?
Any feedback/ past experiences would be appreciated.

Its possible that your contract was extended if you made changes or upgraded your package.
Login to MyBT and see your list of orders, and see if there have been any since you started your contract.
