Cancellation fee

Go to solution

Business question:

My 2 year contract with broadband finishes 11/3/22. I no longer want broadband after that date, just the landline. But I am told I have to pay a disconnection fee. Is that right? Also, will I be expected to pay any other penalty if I am calling before 11/3/22 to change my contract/start a new contract without broadband.  I was told a few months back that I don't need to let them know until beginning of March. Today I am told they need 30 days notice. But if it finishes on 11/3/22 anyway why would they need any notice? Confused.

30 days notice always apply with any provider even if you remove one i don't think you will get a disconnection fee if you out of contract if its last mouth of it you should not get it of it 30 days notice will be right end day of the contract you have with bt sometimes they apply it if you want to cancel one of them you will have to the rest of the contract
