Cancelling Now TV Boost

Hi,

I have Now TV Boost active on my account but cannot see a way to cancel it.

There is an option for "Boost your viewing experience" which says HD underneath but that currently shows as unselected - I don't want to add it again

I tried to cancel via a Live Chat but the operator said they didn't have an option to change it (after trying to upsell me a sim package...)

Any pointers?

I would log into your now account and you should be able to manage it there, if not then perhaps a call to BT would be beneficial.  If you have full works tv though boost will be included

Funny how canceling or downgrades are beyond their capabilities but upselling is never a problem

NOW Boost is included with some EETV packages and also may be included when selecting HD or HD/4K addons to some EETV.

@mallen which EETV package do you have and is HD included or added to it ?  (Are you able to watch channel 385  Sky News HD on you EETV  or BTTV box ?)

I'm on  ENTERTAINMENT. Boost shows as a separate £6 charge on my bill. When I go to Manage EE TV Extras there is an entry for boost but it shows as unselected - it also seems to apply to TNT only rather than NOW.

I can access channel 385 on my BTTV box.

I remember adding NOW Boost about a year ago.

To put it simply your account seems to in a mess as you have a incorrect TV package addon combination

For EETV on BT Broadband

If you have the EETV Entertainment package  NOW Boost alone should not be offered or orderable as a TV Extra. Instead  the HD or HD/4K addon is offered/orderable which includes the NOW Boost as a combination within its price..

For EETV on EE Broadband there are some differences.

You will probably need to call in to get your Now Boost removed if  the MY BT App - does not allow you to manage it.

Try logging into your NOW account to manage it directly. If that doesn’t work, giving BT a call might help. Also, if you have Full Works TV, Boost should already be included.
