We were moving to Plusnet but BT made us a good offer and now we are staying. Hopefully
We attempted to cancel the transfer with plusnet on 22 Aug. This has been unsuccessful although PN think they have done it successfully
On 1 Sep I spoke with BT and the early life advisor raised a complaint. I have made several calls since and the transfer to PN order is still pending with a completion date of the 12 Sep. It look like the the data BT is sending Openreach doesn’t match their data and this fails.
I am told my case has been escalated but it still hasn’t been resolved and today is 8 Sep
Can anyone suggest how I can avoid a transfer to PN on 12 Sep?

The BT Data Integrity team have told me all Openreach orders are cancelled. This was 8 Sep
The BT website still says “we miss you already”. I would that thought this message would have disappeared by now
It’s down to the gaining provider to ensure they cancel the takeover. I’d go back to plusnet and raise your complaint with them, hopefully they can sort it out in time.
