Has FTTP recently become available in your area?

Re: Cannot access Your Products

@Clarkatron  Is this using the MyBT app? If so I’m having the same issue for around two weeks now. Have had a chat session with BT today (4th) but not fixed. They said they will look into my account and see if there’s stuff that’s causing it. But having done the usual “remove app - reinstall app” malarkey still no joy. And been told to see how it goes for a week while the backend team do things. If it’s still duff , then I’m to call the technical team. All sounds a bit vague to be honest. The App had been working flawlessly for years up until a week or so ago. Perhaps it was following my iOS update? Anyway, can see everything on the web. Just a bit irritating when one wants to quickly check BB speed.

@Colin_London  Hopefully the  OP will respond too. And sorry for nipping into your post @Clarkatron . But for me,  yes FTTP  has recently become available in my area. Curious as to the question…

Re: Cannot access Your Products

The MyBT problem has nothing to do with FTTP. All that has happened is BT released an update that simply doesn't work. We will just have to wait or use the main BT site. Incidentally, the BT site seems to have been updated too and, although it works, it would be overtaken by a sloth!

Re: Cannot access Your Products

@Carlusha  Well, that's what it appears to be certainly.

Did you report it? In my dealings with the customer service team this afternoon they suggested that  it was the first they'd heard of it. And no one else had reported the issue. But of course it does depend on how much info the teams have access to at the time. And of course whether anyone bothered to raise it as an issue.

No. I might do so if the Chat button makes one of its rare appearances!

Just logged in again and it seems a tad faster.

Re: Cannot access Your Products

I'm exactly the same as you. App not working and can only access via desktop site which is not great as I do everything on my phone.

Also, the log out button has disappeared and you have to go to desktop site to log out. I believe this is a separate conversation on here. Plus there's still my original query of calls not showing up on call protect which has been ongoing for weeks without any fix!

Re: Cannot access Your Products

It has been noted previously that when FTTP becomes available in an area BT customers suddenly cannot access the Upgrades section in My products, thereby forcing people to call sales instead of ordering online.

Re: Cannot access Your Products

My problem is trying to access anything BT related on my android phone.  Tried to log into email and i just jeep getting "your account has been locked try again in 20 minutes" tried to log into MYBT and get the message no account with this username/email/password. I have tried the app and website.

Works perfectly on my laptop but i really need to access email on my phone for emergency alerts. Anyone got any work rounds?
