Changing security questions

In an attempt to update my security details I have tried to change my Security Question on my BT ID. Having selected a question and entering the associated answer - I get the following message  "Sorry there was a problem saving your Changes. Please try later".

Observations:

1, If I enter an invalid Password when saving I get a different error message telling me that the password is incorrect (From a good practice perspective I think explicitly stating a password is invalid is not the right thing to do)

2. The security question on the details screen from which you are to select  the link to update the security question and answer (in the singular) does not appear in the drop down list when selecting a security question. FYI the default question is "Place of birth?"

At this moment in time I am unable to change my security question.

Presumably you correctly answered your existing security question before attempting to change it?

There is no option to enter the answer to the security question- 

The screen has:

  • A drop down list of questions to select from
  • an input box to enter the answer
  • an input box for the password
  • a Save button (and a cancel button

However I have followed the links you have provided and I have managed to change both the security question and the answer.
