Help - Social tariff home essentials

Hi, can anyone give me a definitive answer to the following question, regarding social tarrif home essentials?

Question:

How much is the Home Essentials Social Tarrif for 70MB and Unlimited calls?

Is it:

1. 20.00 per month for Broadband only

2. 10.00 per month for unlimited calls

3. 20.00 per month for both broadband and unlimited calls?

There are so many different stories from BT staff.

Can anyone clear this up (especially BT).

I want a definitive price for an oap (83) on Pension Credit.

I think that may be out of date as there was a recent thread suggesting a new pricing structure was introduced in November. I'll see if I can find it.

So the link to BT brochures says:

Home Essentials – Unlimited Fibre plan
• Fibre broadband with average speeds of 67Mbps. Ideal for browsing the internet, gaming, and streaming TV.
• Unlimited minutes a month talk time to all UK landlines and mobiles.
• Costs £20 a month.

So would you take this as broadband and unlimited telephone (Costs for both all inclusive) for both - a total of £20.00 per month?

They are very misleading aren't they? So basically if you want the 70MB broadband and unlimited calls with phone - the price is £33.00 per month
